Our Services

We Offer Telehealth and In-Person Mental Health Services

Individual Psychotherapy

Individual psychotherapy helps people explore and understand their unique relationship with emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Through this insight clients develop self-compassion and better coping strategies that promote personal growth. Psychotherapy empowers individuals to overcome difficulties, achieve goals, and enhance well-being.

Family Systems Intervention

Madison Behavioral Health works with families to improve communication and facilitate insight into how each member's role and behavior impacts the overall family system. Through guided discussions, families gain insight into patterns of belief and behavior that contribute to the problems they are experiencing. This work fosters understanding, resolves issues, and strengthens relationships. Consultations typically involve members of multiple generations.

Couples Therapy

Couples Therapy focuses on the relationship between people, with specific attention to the problematic patterns of communication and behaviors. Couples therapy helps each individual understand how their psychology and history impacts the relationship.

Under the No Surprises Act you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to an estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy. You can ask your care clinician, and any other healthcare provider you go to, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. The law says that if you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. But you are always welcome to call us if you have questions about your bill or received charges you didn’t expect. Remember to keep a copy of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

Good Faith Estimate

Health Savings Account (HSA) and sometimes Flexible Spending Account (FSA) can be used to pay for therapy sessions whether or not Madison Behavioral Health is in your insurance network. You can check with your insurance provider or healthcare.gov for qualifying medical expenses.
